Welcome to “Goodblink”! It is my ineffable pleasure to meet you! What did bring you here? There might be some reasons why you are reading this right now, right? I guess you want to know something, don’t you? Don`t tell me what it is! Let me guess…You may wonder:
Like everyone else on this planet I have a name. My parents called me “Anna”. Like anything else my name has a meaning. What is the meaning of the name “Anna?” How did it influence me? It is one the oldest names. The name derived from the Hebrew name Hannah, which means "favor" or "grace". In Greek, the version of the meaning is to be gracious or to be compassionate.
What is the connection between the meaning of my name and my personality?
As far as I can remember myself, I always had a burning desire to help others. My kindness revealed when I was a little kid. I always was taking care of small kittens. And still I am. I`m always ready to give a helpful hand and support: whether with a word or an action.
I think, everyone is good at doing something. Everyone should do something, what makes him glad to be alive. Life is about living, not about spending precious time in vain.
As for me, it is hard to define only one thing I am good at because I consider myself to be a versatile personality. My zodiac sign is Gemini, that’s why it feels like there are two people or sometimes more people live in me. By profession, I am a teacher. But I have learned to be many people within the same profession. I`ve learned to be an actor, animator, salesman, keeper of the faith, writer, translator, interpreter, psychologist, and negotiator.
One Latin proverb states: «Qui docet discit» ( “he who teaches, learns”).
- I strongly believe, that teaching and learning are interconnected.
- I consider myself to be a creative teacher with unlimited enthusiasm.
- I always do my best to make my lessons interesting, engaging, exciting and full of positive emotions.
- My ultimate goal is to give my students something to take home except their homework.
Being an optimist, I view positive thinking as one of the main life principles.
Followed by many others and me, in particular. Every morning, when I wake up I have a choice: to be in a good mood or in a bad. I choose to be in a good mood!
That`s why all the things I do and write about are charged with positive energy. Have you caught any positive waves, while reading it?
I`m enthusiastic cook. I like cooking: traditional Ukrainian borsch, typical Russian pelmeni or original New York cheesecake – all that’s just a beginning of my recent new hobby. It is truly therapeutic and creative. It gives me pleasure to cook for someone, especially for my dear husband. It is not about cooking itself; it is about finding bliss in doing it for other.
I`m a member of International Toastmasters club. It is my honor to be a part of such a big and aspiring community. Moreover, I share the values of Toastmasters such as integrity, respect, service and excellence.
Public speaking it is something that we need no matter what we do in life.
I`m an avid developer. What I mean is that I am deeply passionate about self-development! While exploring my “SELF”, I found interesting the topics such as self-improvement, self-esteem, self-actualization and many others, which I am going to share here. Growing as an Individual, a Personality, a Human is something I’m ardent and motivated about.
- Writing gives me the freedom to be myself. That’s one of the greatest feelings you can have in life. It took me some time to figure out what exactly I want to do in my life. The writing was in the list!
- Writing gives me motivation. Providing good writing motivates me to go far beyond what is expected of me. Every time when I do something good, next time I will try to do it even better.
- Writing gives me happiness. It is not about how many happy moments you had. It is about the people you shared these moments with.
I have my philosophy of life and I enjoy sharing with others. Let me share with you “My Philosophy of Life”. Don’t you mind? Let’s see, maybe we share the same philosophy of life.
I guess change is inevitable. Whatever happens is for better.
But there are two crucial life principles that remain constant for me. It is learning and teaching. Let me cut to the chase and dwell upon them.
Learning…Learning is fun. Learning is hard. Learning is the greatest adventure. Learning means living.
What is the hardest part about learning? It is not just a wish to learn, but the process of Getting Things Done! It requires a lot of prodigious efforts, isn’t it?
What is the nicest part about learning? No one can take it from me.

People from different walks of life taught me many important life lessons.
- I`ve learned from all my mistakes and still I am.
Being positive and easy-going personality, I find it easy to come along with people of different ages and beliefs. In order to be understood, I am trying to be an active and objective listener, who tries to understand. Overall, in my philosophy of life, I view teaching and learning as two indispensable parts of ONE process, which, we, people, call LIFE. Each of us is a teacher. We are all learning from each other. I DO believe, we are learning and helping each other to become better people. And YOU?
What is “Goodblink” about or why should have a blink at “goodblink”?
There is a wide range of topics I am interested in. I do my best to provide well-structural information on life-related topics, thought-provoking pictures, wise quotes, inspiring videos, sophisticated books and some food for reflection, which I consider be beneficial and useful for you.
